Montes de Malaga
Above Malaga city is this supurb forest streching over a vast area criss-crossed with a complex of fire-roads and sweet singletrack. We have developed 2 routes in this area
1. Intermediate/advanced, the morning starts with some technical singletrack all the way down into Malaga town. We then uplift back into the forest for some more singletrack on the "Greenhouse trail".
The afternoon will be spent on "The Mirador trail" using the bus to uplift us to the trail head.
2: Intermediate route mainly on fire-roads with some easier singletrack. The morning consists of a fire-road loop with some great views before we have lunch in a venta 1000 metres above sea-level. the second half will be descending through the forest from 1000 metres down to sea-level with the odd small climb as well.
2. Level:Intermediate/Advanced
The "Wild boar" trail
Distance: 22 Km.
Height gain: 300 Mtrs
Descending: 1100 Mtrs
A couple of fire-road climbs but mainly ridge line singletrack descending, magic.
The Greenhouse trail
Distance: 6 Km.
Height gain: 40 Mtrs
Descending: 500 Mtrs
Just an amazing trail with switchbacks, dropoffs and twisty sections.
Well worth uplifting more than once for this trail.
