They have all been pleasantly surprised on the quality and variety of our easier trails and have all left excellent reviews on our guestbook.
Please see our web-page on family holidays for more information.
Holidays in Europe getting cheaper

We charge in Euros so our holidays and spending money will now cost you less than last year.
New hire bikes
Giant Anthem X4 (Full-sus)
One of the most respected and successful XC race/trail bikes around, Giant are justifiably proud of the Anthem X. Light, nimble and with the excellent Maestro suspension system the 2010 Anthem X has managed to shed weight over the 2009 models whilst remaining as stiff and strong as ever. A lightning quick trailbike that’s as happy in competition as it is on a Sunday spin around your local trails.
Giant Anthem XTC2 (Hard-tail)
CARVE THROUGH CORNERS AND MAKE MOLEHILLS OUT OF MOUNTAINS WITH THE SWEET SENSATION OF A CLASSIC HARDTAIL.
Feel the flow with XtC’s race-bred, time-tested geometry and lightweight, agile ALUXX SL butted aluminium frameset. Whether you’re looking to up the speed or just ride more trails, the pedigree of XtC’s rich racing heritage will elevate your game.

Combined Skiing/Biking
Can´t decide on a bike or ski holiday? As well as our normal biking holidays, from January until April we will be running biking holidays with 2 full days skiing in the extensive Sierra Nevada range staying overnight at a good value hotel.
Downhill biking
Even Steve Peat and Nathan Rennie have been riding on our local Mijas hills.
For those wanting steep technical downhill routes with that special grin factor, we have several rocky steep singletrack trails nearby starting from around 1000m and finishing at sea level.
Bring your own full-sus bike to test its full potential. Uplift as many times as you want in our mini-bus or using our local cable car (Our holidays for normal bikers still going strong!)
Winter weather
Although we get a few wet days each month from October until March mainly the climate here on the coast is sunny and mild, perfect biking weather in fact. We do not experience the frosts, snow and cold weather which is normal in the Winter months inland nearer Granada. That´s why we go skiing there.
Long weekends
Problems committing to a week? How about a long weekend? Get a cheap flight Friday into Malaga arriving before midday and, as we are just 20 minutes from the airport, we´ll have you on a ride just an hour after landing. Leave Monday late afternoon also means you can fit a ride in before the short transit to the airport.
That’s all for now

What Mountain Bike
What Mountain Bike - May 2009 - Page 49 is showing some glowing reports about us from previous clients. Can´t let such great recommendation go unnoticed! Have a look below:
I'm seriously thinking of heading off to Spain with my bike sometime next year. Does anyone have any experience of bike holidays? Which companies would you recommend etc?
www.sierracycling.com for good xc trails. Depends on what type of riding you do. Email Alan with your expectations/questions and take it from there.
I went with Sierra Cycling about 2 years ago, had a great time, the guides were great and the rides varried and taylored to what we wanted (there was 15 in our group). When not riding, there's a pool at the villa, loads of cheap good resteraunts and within walking distance of the bars and nightlife as well as being right on the sea front.
I highly recommend them. www.sierracycling.com
I recommmend Sierracycling too,
Am off out there again at Easter, this will be my 2nd trip with them. Just don't expect military planning, they are all very relaxed and after all it is a holiday
Air Lingus
www.airlingus.com is the latest cheap air company flying from Gatwick (and some Irish airports). Lots of free flights currently, just pay taxes.

We also have a range of Kona King Kikapu bikes, a lightweight full susser that rides like a dream.
If you are looking to buy any Kona model and would like to buy from us, we can pre-order it for your holiday and undercut any UK price going.
We can also ship the new bikes to you from here in Spain, ask us for a quote. All our new Kulas will also be for sale, price depending on rental use.

Groups
As we think we have the perfect set up to accommodate groups we are increasing our group discount, for groups of 8 or more to a massive 20%.
Why not arrange a bike club trip or bully a few mates to come over for a great biking holiday? We´ll even throw in a free holiday for the organiser!
Padding-Up Option - by popular demand
For those wanting steep technical downhill routes with that special grin factor, we have several rocky steep singletrack tracks nearby starting from around 1000m and finishing at sea level.
Bring your own full-sus bike to test it’s full potential. Uplift as many times as you want in our mini-bus or using our local cable car (minimum booking of 2 for this option).
Montes Video
Cable Car video
(Our holidays for normal bikers still going strong!)
Transport
We now have 2 air-conditioned 9-seater long wheelbase Ford Transits. 9 bikers and 9 bikes are accommodated very comfortably.
Routes and "The Holy Grail"
We have redesigned a lot of our routes to start from high up in the mountains and finishing at sea level. Also due to popular demand, we have included in our rides, lots more single track with lots more fun riding.
A new ride for 2010 - "The Holy Grail" - stunning downhill singletrack all day with lots of uplifts.
Mid Week Arrivals
As low cost airlines into Malaga are spreading, even better deals can be had during the week. We can accommodate any day, any time arrivals so you can save on the fare.
If you can arrive into Malaga before noon we will have you out on an afternoon ride after a 15-minute transfer to our houses. We think that’s better than having to hang around in the airport on a busy Saturday waiting for a 3-hour transfer.
Rambling Holidays
Due to demand we have introduced walking holidays.
Same winning formula but with rambles instead of rides. Enables mixed biking/walking groups to come out together or take a day or two off the bike to go on our walks.
Summer Holidays
If you would like to rent a beach house for a normal summer beach holiday see our www.holidayrentalspain.com.
Peak Periods
April, May, June then September and October tend to fill up quickest. So groups if you would like to come in these months please book up early.
In other months there is more chance of late bookings and long weekends.
Accommodation
We have fitted top quality air-conditioning/heating in all our bedrooms to ensure maximum sleeping comfort.
Flights
Easyjet and lots of other cheap flight companies are now offering some incredibly low fares down here to Malaga. Why not take advantage of them for some super biking in the sun?
(See our links section for details).
If you bring your own bike put it in a box or bag, Easyjet are refusing unwrapped bikes. Also paying for a bike costs around £35 and increases your luggage allowance from 20kg, to only 32kg so be careful with what else you pack!
Softies Week
For those bikers interested in seeing our fantastic mountains and valleys without too much effort we have designed a week of excursions with the emphasis on flattish rides and those with a downhill bias.
This will include a two-day trip in the white villages in the Ronda Mountains - 75km, with not a single hill to climb. Our route follows a disused railway track with 30 tunnels and 5 viaducts through a river valley and past a vulture sanctuary plus fabulous views along the way.
We will spend the night in a nice hotel and sample some typical Spanish mountain food in the evening. The return trip will include a stop in Ronda to look round. There will be a 30 Euro surcharge to cover hotel.
